Suzanne M. Nicholson is certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Appellate Law. She has been handling civil appeals and writs since 2000, and often works hand-in-hand with trial counsel to make sure key issues are properly preserved in the event an appeal becomes necessary. She represents individuals, businesses, and public entities in a wide range of matters involving civil rights, governmental immunities, contracts, insurance coverage and bad faith, real estate, probate and family law, and general tort liability. Many of her cases have resulted in published opinions. Suzanne also works with the firm’s litigators to prepare dispositive pre- and post-trial motions.
Prior to joining Wilke Fleury, Suzanne had her own solo practice where, in addition to civil appeals, she handled dependency appeals as a panel attorney for the Central California Appellate Program and the California Appellate Project.
