Melissa is an associate at Wilke Fleury whose practice in civil litigation includes representing property owners and managers, general contractors and manufacturers. Melissa works primarily in litigation centered around Real Estate, Construction, and Insurance Coverage law. Melissa assists property owner and management clients in claims related to habitability, discrimination, indemnity rights and compliance with various federal, state and local county ordinances. Melissa counsels clients in negotiating and drafting contracts which protect their interests, including residential leases, property management agreements, vendor agreements and construction contracts. Prior to making the decision to go to law school, Melissa was a certified paralegal since 2013. As a paralegal she was part of the real estate and litigation team with attorneys George Guthrie and Danny Foster at another firm, then Melissa accompanied George and Danny when they came to Wilke Fleury in 2013.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and children, attending all of their sporting events and dance performances. She also enjoys working on cars and drag racing at the local race tracks.
